Workshop Support: Data Enabled Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence
The UF Informatics Institute is proud to announce its newest program: Workshop Support. The purpose of this program is to aid departments across campus to provide short (one to two day) workshops in any area of Data Enabled Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. Through this program we hope to enrich the overall communities education in data enabled science as well as foster interdisciplinary growth among researchers at UF.
Available Funding: UFII has earmarked up to $25,000 annually.
Eligibility: Any UF Faculty hosting a workshop within any area of Data Enabled Science and Engineering and/or Artificial Intelligence
Budget: Budget up to $3,500 can be requested. With up to $500 for local expenses and up to $3,000 in travel and accommodation support. Show of share of cost is required.

Special Note: While awardees are responsible for the scientific program, awardees will be provided logistical support from UF Informatics staff such as : access to UFII Lecture Room, advertising, and catering arrangements.
